We’re delighted to announce that NWGRC ringcraft is resuming, with the first one scheduled for next Wednesday, July 7th. Please note that due to social distancing guidelines, the session will not be held at the usual indoor venue. Instead, NWGRC committee member Tracey Shepherd will host the session at: Moons Farm, Garstang Road, Catterall, Preston, PR3 0HD, starting at 7.30pm.
For those of you not familiar with ringcraft, it enables you to learn what’s required to show your dog at local, open or championship shows, and provides an opportunity to socialise your dog/s. It’s particularly useful for younger dogs and gives you the chance to meet other owners in an informal, friendly environment and to discuss any aspect of Golden Retriever ownership. COVID guidelines will apply and please bring face masks.
If you need more information, please call 07966 622789.
(Posted 2nd July 2021).
We hold ring craft classes on the first Wednesday of each month, beginning at 7.30pm.
They are held at Appley Bridge Community Centre, Appley Lane North, WN6 9AE.
The classes enable you to learn what’s required to show your dog, at local, open or championship shows, and are an ideal opportunity to socialise your dog/s.
You also get the chance to meet other owners in an informal, friendly environment and to discuss any aspect of Golden Retriever ownership.
We hold numerous social and educational events for members over the course of the year.
We’re hoping to repeat the very successful Fun Day we staged for members, non-members and their Goldens in June and the recently organised quiz night was well supported and a great success.
